अधर्माभिभवात्कृष्ण प्रदुष्यन्ति कुलस्त्रियः।

स्त्रीषु दुष्टासु वार्ष्णेय जायते वर्णसङ्करः॥४१॥

Adharma-Abhibhavat Krishna Pradushyanti Kula-Striyah.

Strishu Dushtasu Varshneya Jayate Varna-Sankarah.||41||

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

हे कृष्ण! अधर्म के बढ़ने से कुल की स्त्रियाँ दूषित हो जाती हैं। हे वार्ष्णेय! स्त्रियों के दूषित होने पर वर्णसंकर (सामाजिक अव्यवस्था) उत्पन्न होता है।

English Translation

O Krishna, with the prevalence of adharma, the women of the family become corrupted. O Varshneya, when women are corrupted, social disorder (varna-sankara) arises.

Commentary (टीका)

Arjuna speaks from the perspective of his era's social framework. The deeper point is about the breakdown of social order when moral structures collapse — a universal truth applicable to any society. When the guardians of values are destroyed in war, the entire social fabric unravels.
