सर्वगुह्यतमं भूयः शृणु मे परमं वचः।

इष्टोऽसि मे दृढमिति ततो वक्ष्यामि ते हितम्॥

Transliteration

Sarva-guhyatamam bhuyah shrinu me paramam vachah

Ishto'si me dridham-iti tato vakshyami te hitam

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

सबसे गुह्य-से-गुह्यतम बात फिर से सुन — मेरा परम वचन। तू मुझे अत्यन्त प्रिय है, इसलिए मैं तेरे हित की बात कहूँगा।

English Translation

Hear again My supreme word, the most secret of all. You are firmly dear to Me, therefore I shall speak for your benefit.

Commentary (टीका)

Before delivering the Gita's ultimate verse, Krishna declares His deep personal love for Arjuna. The phrase 'you are firmly dear to Me' reveals that the relationship between God and devotee is one of profound mutual affection. Out of this love, Krishna is about to reveal the supreme secret.
