Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

In the beginning, the Creator Prajapati created humankind along with sacrifice and said: By this sacrifice shall you prosper; let this be the wish-fulfilling cow (Kamadhenu) that grants all your desires.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna traces the institution of Yajna (selfless action/sacrifice) back to the very beginning of creation. Prajapati established a cosmic covenant — humans would prosper through mutual giving and sacrifice. The comparison to Kamadhenu (the wish-fulfilling cow) emphasizes that selfless service is the true source of all abundance.
