English Translation
For such a Self-realized person, there is nothing to be gained by action done, nor anything lost by action not done. Such a one has no dependence on any being for any purpose.
Commentary (टीका)
This describes the complete independence of the liberated soul. Having realized the Self, they have no selfish motive for any action. They neither gain from doing nor lose from not doing. This state of absolute freedom is the ultimate fruit of spiritual practice, though such beings often continue to act for the welfare of the world.
