व्यामिश्रेणेव वाक्येन बुद्धिं मोहयसीव मे।
तदेकं वद निश्चित्य येन श्रेयोऽहमाप्नुयाम्॥२॥

आप मिले-जुले वचनों से मेरी बुद्धि को मोहित-सा कर रहे हैं। अतः निश्चयपूर्वक वह एक बात कहिए जिससे मैं कल्याण को प्राप्त हो सकूँ।
English Translation
With these seemingly contradictory words, You are bewildering my intellect. Therefore, please tell me decisively that one path by which I may attain the highest good.
Commentary (टीका)
Arjuna expresses the genuine confusion of a sincere seeker. He wants one clear path, not realizing yet that Jnana and Karma are two sides of the same coin. His honest admission of confusion is praised by commentators — only one who acknowledges confusion can receive true knowledge.
