Commentary (टीका)
Completing the previous verse, Krishna gives three reasons for His divine incarnation: protecting the virtuous, destroying evil, and re-establishing dharma. The phrase 'yuge yuge' (age after age) indicates that this is not a one-time event but an eternal promise. This verse gives immense hope to devotees that God is always present and actively engaged in upholding cosmic order.
