Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

Sanjaya said: O Bharata (Dhritarashtra), thus addressed by Gudakesha (Arjuna), Hrishikesha (Krishna) placed the finest chariot between the two armies.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna, the Supreme Lord, willingly becomes Arjuna's charioteer and obeys his command. The epithets are meaningful — Hrishikesha (lord of the senses) drives the chariot for Gudakesha (conqueror of sleep/ignorance). This symbolizes how the divine guides the sincere seeker.
