Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
O Yogi, how may I know You, constantly meditating on You? In what various forms and objects are You to be contemplated by me, O Lord?
Commentary (टीका)
Arjuna asks a practical question for devotional meditation — in which forms and things should he contemplate Krishna? This shows his desire to make every moment an act of worship. By knowing which manifestations represent Krishna, Arjuna can see the Divine everywhere and maintain constant remembrance. This question gives rise to the famous vibhuti list that follows.
