हे पार्थ! पुरोहितों में मुझे मुख्य बृहस्पति जानो। सेनापतियों में मैं स्कन्द (कार्तिकेय) हूँ और जलाशयों में सागर (समुद्र) हूँ।
English Translation
O Partha, know Me to be Brihaspati, the chief among priests. Of generals I am Skanda (Kartikeya), and of water bodies I am the ocean.
Commentary (टीका)
Brihaspati is the guru of the gods and foremost among priests, Skanda (Kartikeya) is the divine commander of celestial armies, and the ocean is the greatest of all water bodies. These identifications span the priestly, martial, and natural domains. Each represents supreme excellence and leadership in its field.
