त्वमादिदेवः पुरुषः पुराणस्
त्वमस्य विश्वस्य परं निधानम्।
वेत्तासि वेद्यं च परं च धाम
त्वया ततं विश्वमनन्तरूप॥
Transliteration
Tvam-Adi-Devah Purushah Puranah
Tvam-Asya Vishvasya Param Nidhanam.
Vetta-Asi Vedyam Cha Param Cha Dhama
Tvaya Tatam Vishvam-Ananta-Rupa.

आप आदिदेव, सनातन पुरुष हैं, इस विश्व के परम आश्रय हैं। आप ज्ञाता, ज्ञेय और परमधाम हैं। हे अनन्तरूप! आपसे यह सम्पूर्ण विश्व व्याप्त है।
English Translation
You are the Primal God, the Ancient Person, the supreme resting place. You are the Knower, the Known, and the Supreme Abode. The universe is pervaded by You, O Infinite Form.
Commentary (टीका)
As Knower, Known, and Supreme Abode, Krishna encompasses the subject, object, and goal of all knowledge.
