सुदुर्दर्शमिदं रूपं दृष्टवानसि यन्मम।

देवा अप्यस्य रूपस्य नित्यं दर्शनकाङ्क्षिणः॥

Transliteration

Su-Dur-Darsham-Idam Rupam Drishtavan-Asi Yan-Mama.

Deva Apy-Asya Rupasya Nityam Darshana-Kankshinah.

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

श्रीभगवान बोले — मेरा जो यह रूप तुमने देखा, इसे देखना अत्यन्त कठिन है। देवता भी इस रूप के दर्शन की सदा कामना करते रहते हैं।

English Translation

The Supreme Lord said: This form which you have seen is very difficult to behold. Even the gods constantly yearn for a vision of this form.

Commentary (टीका)

Even the gods perpetually desire to see this form but cannot. Arjuna's experience was an extraordinary act of grace.
