यस्मान्नोद्विजते लोको लोकान्नोद्विजते च यः।

हर्षामर्षभयोद्वेगैर्मुक्तो यः स च मे प्रियः॥

Transliteration

Yasman-No-Udvijate Loko Lokan-No-Udvijate Cha Yah.

Harsha-Amarsha-Bhayo-Dvegair-Mukto Yah Sa Cha Me Priyah.

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

जिससे लोग उद्विग्न (परेशान) नहीं होते और जो स्वयं लोगों से उद्विग्न नहीं होता, जो हर्ष, क्रोध, भय और उद्वेग (चिन्ता) से मुक्त है — वह भी मुझे प्रिय है।

English Translation

He by whom the world is not disturbed and who is not disturbed by the world, who is free from joy, anger, fear, and anxiety — he too is dear to Me.

Commentary (टीका)

This verse describes harmonious living — neither disturbing others nor being disturbed by them. The devotee maintains inner equilibrium free from emotional extremes. The mutual non-disturbance between the devotee and the world reflects true spiritual maturity — living in the world without friction.
