English Translation
— equal in blame and praise, contemplative, content with whatever comes, without attachment to home, steady-minded, and full of devotion — such a person is dear to Me.
Commentary (टीका)
The description culminates with qualities of inner freedom — equal response to criticism and praise, contemplative silence, contentment with whatever life brings, non-attachment even to one's home, and mental stability. The word 'aniketah' (homeless/unattached to dwelling) means not literal homelessness but inner freedom from dependence on external security.
