Know Me also as the knower of the field in all fields, O Bharata. The knowledge of the field and the knower of the field — that I consider to be true knowledge.

Commentary (टीका)

This is one of the most important verses in the Gita. Krishna declares Himself as the supreme knower present in all bodies, establishing the identity of the individual soul with the Supreme. True knowledge is not mere intellectual understanding but the direct realization of the distinction between matter and spirit.
