Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
The embodied soul, having transcended these three Gunas that arise from the body, is freed from birth, death, old age, and sorrow, and attains immortality.
Commentary (टीका)
This verse states the ultimate goal — transcending all three Gunas to attain immortality. Even Sattva must be transcended, for as long as any Guna binds, the soul remains in the cycle of birth and death. True liberation means going beyond all material qualities and resting in the pure, unconditioned state of the Self.
