English Translation
O son of Kunti, whatever forms are produced in all the wombs, the great Prakriti is their womb and I am the seed-giving father.
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna clarifies His role in creation — He is the universal father who provides the conscious principle (the seed), while Prakriti is the universal mother who provides the material body. Every species, from the smallest insect to the highest celestial being, owes its existence to this cosmic parentage. This establishes Krishna's intimate connection with all living beings.
