Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

The Supreme Lord said: The faith of embodied beings is of three kinds, born of their innate nature — sattvic, rajasic, and tamasic. Hear about it.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna responds by classifying faith itself into three categories based on the dominant guna. Faith is not uniform — it takes on the quality of one's inherent nature. This framework allows self-assessment without judging faith as simply present or absent.
