जो कर्म परिणाम, हानि, दूसरों को हिंसा और अपनी सामर्थ्य का विचार किए बिना, मोहवश आरम्भ किया जाता है — वह तामसिक कहलाता है।
English Translation
That action which is undertaken out of delusion, without considering consequences, loss, harm to others, or one's own capacity — that is called tamasic.
Commentary (टीका)
Tamasic action is fundamentally reckless — undertaken without any consideration of its impact. The disregard for consequences, potential loss, harm to others, and even one's own ability marks this as the most destructive form of action. Delusion drives such heedless behavior.
