Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

हे पार्थ! जो बुद्धि तमोगुण से आवृत होकर अधर्म को धर्म मानती है और सब बातों को उलटा समझती है — वह तामसी है।

English Translation

O Partha, the intellect which, enveloped in darkness, considers adharma to be dharma and sees all things in a perverted way — that is tamasic.

Commentary (टीका)

Tamasic intellect is completely inverted — it sees wrong as right and right as wrong. Enveloped in the darkness of ignorance, it perceives everything in reverse. This is the most dangerous state because the person sincerely believes their distorted view is correct.
