Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
O Bharata, the soul dwelling in the body of everyone is eternally indestructible. Therefore, you should not grieve for any being.
Commentary (टीका)
This verse concludes the philosophical section on the soul's immortality. The word 'sarvasya' (of everyone) is key — the indestructibility applies universally. Whether friend or foe, the soul in every body is eternal. This universal truth removes the basis for grief about anyone's death, including one's enemies.
