English Translation
The wise, endowed with equanimity of mind, renouncing the fruits born of action, are freed from the bondage of birth and attain the state beyond all suffering.
Commentary (टीका)
The promise of Karma Yoga: by renouncing attachment to the fruits of action, one attains liberation — freedom from the cycle of birth and death. The state 'anamayam' (without affliction) is moksha, the supreme goal of human life, attainable through selfless action rather than mere withdrawal from the world.
