विषया विनिवर्तन्ते निराहारस्य देहिनः।
रसवर्जं रसोऽप्यस्य परं दृष्ट्वा निवर्तते॥५९॥

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
विषयों से विरत होने वाले पुरुष के विषय तो लौट जाते हैं, परन्तु रस (आसक्ति) बनी रहती है। परन्तु परमात्मा को देखने (जानने) पर रस भी समाप्त हो जाता है।
English Translation
The sense objects withdraw from one who abstains from them, but the longing for them remains. Even this longing ceases upon realizing the Supreme.
Commentary (टीका)
A crucial psychological insight: mere forced abstinence (fasting, austerity) can suppress behavior but not the underlying craving ('rasa'). True freedom from desire comes only through a higher taste — the experience of the divine. This is why spiritual realization, not mere willpower, is the ultimate solution to attachment.
