Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
विषयों का चिन्तन करने वाले पुरुष की उनमें आसक्ति हो जाती है। आसक्ति से कामना उत्पन्न होती है और कामना से क्रोध उत्पन्न होता है।
English Translation
When a person contemplates sense objects, attachment to them develops. From attachment arises desire, and from unfulfilled desire arises anger.
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna reveals the chain of spiritual downfall: contemplation leads to attachment, attachment to desire, and unfulfilled desire to anger. This psychological sequence is remarkably precise — modern psychology confirms this progression. The key insight is that the chain begins with mere thought; therefore, guarding one's thoughts is essential.
