यज्ञशिष्टामृतभुजो यान्ति ब्रह्म सनातनम्।
नायं लोकोऽस्त्ययज्ञस्य कुतोऽन्यः कुरुसत्तम॥
Transliteration
Yajna-Shishta-Amrita-Bhujo Yanti Brahma Sanatanam.
Nayam Loko'sty-Ayajnasya Kuto'nyah Kuru-Sattama.

यज्ञ से बचे अमृत (प्रसाद) को भोगने वाले सनातन ब्रह्म को प्राप्त होते हैं। हे कुरुश्रेष्ठ! जो यज्ञ नहीं करता, उसके लिए यह लोक भी नहीं है, तो परलोक कैसे होगा?
English Translation
Those who partake of the nectar that remains after sacrifice attain the eternal Brahman. For one who performs no sacrifice, even this world is not happy — how then the next, O best of the Kurus?
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna declares that the remnants of sacrifice are like nectar leading to eternal Brahman. Those who live a life of sacrifice enjoy both this world and the next, while those who live selfishly without any spirit of offering cannot find happiness anywhere. This verse strongly emphasizes that a life without sacrifice — without selfless contribution — is devoid of meaning.
