नादत्ते कस्यचित्पापं न चैव सुकृतं विभुः।
अज्ञानेनावृतं ज्ञानं तेन मुह्यन्ति जन्तवः॥
Transliteration
Na-Adatte Kasyachit Papam Na Chaiva Sukritam Vibhuh.
Ajnanena-Avritam Jnanam Tena Muhyanti Jantavah.

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
सर्वव्यापी परमात्मा किसी के पाप को या पुण्य को ग्रहण नहीं करता। ज्ञान अज्ञान से ढका हुआ है, इसलिए जीव मोहित होते हैं।
English Translation
The all-pervading Lord does not accept anyone's sin or merit. Knowledge is covered by ignorance — therefore beings are deluded.
Commentary (टीका)
God remains neutral and does not directly cause anyone's sin or virtue. The Supreme is beyond the dualities of good and evil. The reason beings experience suffering and bondage is that their innate knowledge is covered by ignorance (ajnana). When this covering is removed through self-knowledge, the soul recognizes its true nature as ever-free and untainted.
