Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
प्रभु (आत्मा/ईश्वर) न लोगों का कर्तापन, न कर्म, न कर्मफल का संयोग रचता है। स्वभाव (प्रकृति) ही सब का संचालन करती है।
English Translation
The Lord does not create for people the sense of doership, nor actions, nor the connection of action with its fruit. It is one's own nature (prakriti) that operates.
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna reveals a profound truth: the Supreme Self (whether understood as the individual soul or God) does not create the sense of agency, actions, or their results. All these arise from one's own material nature (prakriti) — the three gunas operating through the body-mind complex. Understanding this liberates one from the false sense of being the doer.
