Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

Even here in this life, the cycle of birth is conquered by those whose minds rest in equanimity. Brahman is flawless and equal — therefore they are established in Brahman.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna declares that liberation is not something that occurs only after death — it can be attained in this very life by those whose minds are established in equanimity. Since Brahman is flawless (nirdosha) and the same everywhere (sama), those who have achieved the vision of equality are already one with Brahman. This is the concept of jivanmukti — liberation while living.
