Commentary (टीका)

Krishna now begins the practical instructions for meditation. Five conditions are prescribed: solitude (rahasi), being alone (ekaki), self-control (yata-chitta-atma), desirelessness (nirashih), and non-possessiveness (aparigrahah). These external and internal conditions create the ideal environment for the mind to turn inward and rest in the Self.
