Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
One who maintains equal vision towards well-wishers, friends, enemies, the indifferent, the neutral, the hateful, relatives, the righteous, and the sinful — that person excels.
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna lists seven categories of human relationships and declares that maintaining equal vision across all of them is the mark of spiritual excellence. This does not mean treating everyone identically in behavior, but seeing the same divine Self in all beings regardless of their relationship to oneself. This sama-buddhi (equal vision) is the practical expression of the highest spiritual realization.
