Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

जब मनुष्य न इन्द्रियों के विषयों में और न कर्मों में आसक्त होता है, सब संकल्पों का त्याग कर देता है — तब वह योगारूढ कहलाता है।

English Translation

When one is not attached to sense objects or to actions, having renounced all selfish resolve — then that person is said to be established in yoga.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna defines the state of being yoga-arudha (established in yoga). It is characterized by complete non-attachment to both sensory pleasures and actions, combined with the renunciation of all selfish intentions. This state is not about physical inactivity but about the complete absence of ego-driven motivation. It is the mark of spiritual maturity.
