English Translation

For one who has conquered the self and is tranquil, the Supreme Self is steady — in cold and heat, pleasure and pain, honor and dishonor.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna describes the state of the self-conquered person: their awareness of the Supreme Self remains undisturbed by the three pairs of opposites — physical (cold-heat), emotional (pleasure-pain), and social (honor-dishonor). This equanimity is not indifference but a profound stability rooted in the realization that the true Self is beyond all changing conditions.
