Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
The Supreme Lord said: The imperishable is the supreme Brahman. One's own nature is called Adhyatma. The creative force that causes the manifestation of beings is called Karma.
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna answers Arjuna's first three questions with remarkable precision. Brahman is the imperishable Absolute; Adhyatma is the individual soul's essential nature; and Karma is the creative impulse that brings beings into existence. These definitions form the metaphysical framework for understanding the entire cosmic process.
