Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
The Blessed Lord said: To you who are free from envy, I shall now reveal this most secret knowledge combined with realized wisdom, knowing which you shall be freed from all misery and inauspiciousness.
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna opens this chapter by declaring this teaching the most confidential of all. The qualifier 'anasuyave' (to the non-envious) is significant — this supreme knowledge can only be received by one whose heart is free from jealousy and fault-finding. The promise of liberation from all 'ashubha' (inauspiciousness) sets the tone for the entire chapter.
