मैं इस जगत का पिता हूँ, माता हूँ, धाता (विधाता/पालनकर्ता) हूँ, पितामह हूँ; जानने योग्य (वेद्य) हूँ, पवित्र करने वाला (ओंकार) हूँ; ऋग्वेद, सामवेद और यजुर्वेद भी मैं ही हूँ।

English Translation

I am the father of this universe, the mother, the sustainer, and the grandfather. I am the object of all knowledge, the purifier, the sacred syllable Om, and I am the Rig, Sama, and Yajur Vedas.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna declares Himself as both father and mother of the universe — combining both masculine and feminine aspects of the Divine. He is the purifier (through Om, the primordial sound), and the embodiment of all sacred knowledge (the three Vedas). This verse establishes the absolute comprehensiveness of God's relationship with creation.
