English Translation

My limbs are giving way, my mouth is drying up, my body is trembling, and my hair is standing on end.

Commentary (टीका)

Arjuna describes classic symptoms of acute anxiety and emotional shock. These physical symptoms — weakness, dry mouth, trembling, and horripilation — are the body's natural response to extreme psychological distress. The greatest warrior of his time is rendered helpless by his own emotions.
