Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

O Keshava, I see adverse omens, and I cannot foresee any good from killing my own kinsmen in battle.

Commentary (टीका)

Arjuna now invokes inauspicious omens to justify his reluctance. While his compassion is genuine, Krishna will later reveal that Arjuna's reasoning is clouded by attachment. True welfare lies in fulfilling one's dharmic duty, not in avoiding difficult actions out of emotional confusion.
