English Translation

O Arjuna, of all creations I am the beginning, end, and middle. Of all sciences I am the science of the Self (Adhyatma Vidya), and of those who debate I am the logical conclusion (Vada).

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna reaffirms His role as the totality of creation — its origin, sustenance, and dissolution. Among all forms of knowledge, the science of Self-realization (Adhyatma Vidya) is supreme because it leads to liberation. Among forms of discourse, Vada (reasoned debate aimed at truth) represents the highest, distinguishing it from sophistry or quarrelsome argument.
