English Translation
Of letters I am the letter 'A'; of compound words, the dual compound (Dvandva); I am the imperishable Time, and I am the Creator facing all directions.
Commentary (टीका)
The letter 'A' is the foundation of all alphabets and sounds — every word begins with it. The Dvandva compound preserves the identity of both words equally. Imperishable Time governs all creation. The Creator facing all directions symbolizes omniscience and omnipresence. This verse moves from linguistics to cosmic principles, showing God's presence in every domain.
