Of the deceitful I am gambling; I am the splendor of the splendid; I am victory, I am determination, and I am the goodness of the good.
Commentary (टीका)
Even gambling, the most cunning form of deception, is attributed to Krishna — showing that all powers, even those that seem negative, ultimately derive from the Divine. Victory, determination, and sattva (goodness) are all divine qualities. This verse demonstrates that God is the source of all power and excellence, regardless of how it is used.
