Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
English Translation
The seven great sages, the four ancient ones (Sanaka etc.), and the fourteen Manus — all were born from My mind and will, and from them have come all the beings in this world.
Commentary (टीका)
Krishna traces the cosmic lineage to Himself. The seven great sages (Saptarishis), the four Kumaras, and the Manus are the progenitors of all beings. By declaring they were born from His mind, Krishna establishes Himself as the ultimate ancestor. This connects individual existence to the Divine through an unbroken chain of creation.
