यथा नदीनां बहवोऽम्बुवेगाः
समुद्रमेवाभिमुखा द्रवन्ति।
तथा तवामी नरलोकवीरा
विशन्ति वक्त्राण्यभिविज्वलन्ति॥

Yatha Nadinam Bahavo'mbu-Vegah
Samudram-Eva-Abhimukha Dravanti.
Tatha Tava-Ami Nara-Loka-Vira
Vishanti Vaktrany-Abhivijvalanti.

जैसे नदियों के अनेक जलप्रवाह समुद्र की ओर दौड़ते हैं, वैसे ही ये मनुष्यलोक के वीर आपके प्रज्वलित मुखों में प्रवेश कर रहे हैं।
English Translation
As many torrents of rivers flow toward the ocean, so do these heroes of the human world rush into Your blazing mouths.
Commentary (टीका)
The simile of rivers flowing inevitably into the ocean conveys the helplessness of all beings before the force of Time and destiny.
