द्रोणं च भीष्मं च जयद्रथं च

कर्णं तथान्यानपि योधवीरान्।

मया हतांस्त्वं जहि मा व्यथिष्ठा

युध्यस्व जेतासि रणे सपत्नान्॥

Transliteration

Dronam Cha Bhishmam Cha Jayadratham Cha

Karnam Tatha-Anyan-Api Yodha-Viran.

Maya Hatams-Tvam Jahi Ma Vyathishtha

Yudhyasva Jetasi Rane Sapatnan.

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

द्रोण, भीष्म, जयद्रथ, कर्ण और अन्य वीर योद्धा — इन्हें मैंने पहले से ही मार दिया है। तुम इन्हें मारो, विचलित मत होओ। युद्ध करो, तुम शत्रुओं को जीतोगे।

English Translation

Drona, Bhishma, Jayadratha, Karna, and other brave warriors have already been slain by Me. Slay them, do not be distressed. Fight, and you shall conquer your enemies in battle.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna names the most formidable opponents and assures they are already dead in the divine plan. The command 'ma vyathishthah' directly answers Arjuna's original distress.
