यावत्सञ्जायते किञ्चित्सत्त्वं स्थावरजङ्गमम्।
क्षेत्रक्षेत्रज्ञसंयोगात्तद्विद्धि भरतर्षभ॥२७॥

Kshetra-Kshetrajna-Samyogat-Tad-Viddhi Bharatarshabha.

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
हे भरतश्रेष्ठ! जो कुछ भी — स्थावर या जंगम — उत्पन्न होता है, उसे क्षेत्र और क्षेत्रज्ञ के संयोग से उत्पन्न जानो।
English Translation
Whatever being is born, whether moving or unmoving, know that it arises from the union of the field and the knower of the field, O best of the Bharatas.
Commentary (टीका)
All creation, whether animate or inanimate, results from the conjunction of matter (Kshetra) and consciousness (Kshetrajna). Without matter, consciousness has no medium of expression; without consciousness, matter remains inert. This verse summarizes the Sankhya cosmology that underlies the Gita's philosophy.
