English Translation
Desire, aversion, pleasure, pain, the physical aggregate, consciousness, and fortitude — this, in brief, has been described as the field with its modifications.
Commentary (टीका)
Completing the description of the field, Krishna includes psychological aspects like desire, aversion, pleasure, and pain. The field is not just the physical body but includes the entire psycho-physical apparatus with all its modifications. Understanding all these as part of the field helps the seeker to dis-identify from them.
