Commentary (टीका)
Krishna provides practical signs for recognizing each Guna's predominance. When Sattva is dominant, there is clarity in perception, alertness of mind, and a luminous quality in all sense experiences. The 'gates' refer to the nine openings of the body through which we interact with the world — when these function with clarity and wisdom, Sattva prevails.
