लोभः प्रवृत्तिरारम्भः कर्मणामशमः स्पृहा।
रजस्येतानि जायन्ते विवृद्धे भरतर्षभ॥१२॥

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
हे भरतश्रेष्ठ! जब रजोगुण बढ़ता है तब लोभ, प्रवृत्ति, कर्मों का आरम्भ, अशान्ति और स्पृहा — ये सब उत्पन्न होते हैं।
English Translation
Greed, activity, the undertaking of new actions, restlessness, and longing — these arise when Rajas has increased, O best of the Bharatas.
Commentary (टीका)
The signs of Rajasic predominance include greed for acquisition, compulsive activity, constantly starting new projects, inability to find inner peace, and intense longing for objects and experiences. A person dominated by Rajas is always busy but never satisfied, perpetually chasing the next goal without finding lasting fulfillment.
