Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

English Translation

If the embodied being meets death when Sattva is predominant, then it attains the pure worlds of those who know the highest.

Commentary (टीका)

The Guna predominant at the time of death determines one's next destination. Dying in a Sattvic state leads to the higher, purer realms where great sages and knowers of Brahman reside. This underscores the importance of cultivating Sattva throughout life, so that one's final moments are characterized by clarity and peace.
