रजसि प्रलयं गत्वा कर्मसङ्गिषु जायते।
तथा प्रलीनस्तमसि मूढयोनिषु जायते॥१५॥

Rajasi Pralayam Gatva Karma-Sangishu Jayate.
Tatha Pralinas-Tamasi Mudha-Yonishu Jayate.

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)
रजोगुण में मरने पर कर्मासक्त लोगों में जन्म लेता है। तमोगुण में मरने पर मूढ़ योनियों (अज्ञानी जातियों) में जन्म लेता है।
English Translation
Dying in Rajas, one is born among those attached to action. Dying in Tamas, one is born in the wombs of the deluded.
Commentary (टीका)
A Rajasic death — full of desires, attachments, and unfinished ambitions — leads to rebirth in families driven by worldly action. A Tamasic death — in a state of ignorance, delusion, or unconsciousness — leads to birth in lower species or among deeply ignorant beings. This teaching motivates one to purify the mind through spiritual practice.
