मैं वैश्वानर अग्नि रूप में प्राणियों के शरीर में स्थित होकर, प्राण और अपान वायु से युक्त होकर चार प्रकार के अन्न को पचाता हूँ।

English Translation

Becoming the digestive fire (Vaishvanara), I dwell in the body of all living beings, and united with the Prana and Apana breaths, I digest the four kinds of food.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna is present as the digestive fire in every living body. The four types of food are those that are chewed, swallowed, licked, and sucked. The Prana (outgoing breath) and Apana (incoming breath) assist in digestion. This verse reminds us that even the most basic biological function — digestion — is powered by divine energy. It invites us to see God's presence in the everyday act of eating.
