निर्मानमोहा जितसङ्गदोषा

अध्यात्मनित्या विनिवृत्तकामाः।

द्वन्द्वैर्विमुक्ताः सुखदुःखसंज्ञैर्

गच्छन्त्यमूढाः पदमव्ययं तत्॥५॥

Nir-Mana-Moha Jita-Sanga-Dosha

Adhyatma-Nitya Vinivrtta-Kamah.

Dvandvair-Vimuktah Sukha-Duhkha-Samjnair

Gachchhanty-Amudhah Padam-Avyayam Tat.

Hindi Translation (हिन्दी अर्थ)

जो मान और मोह से मुक्त हैं, आसक्ति-दोष जीत चुके हैं, अध्यात्म में नित्य स्थित हैं, कामनाएँ शान्त हो गई हैं, सुख-दुःख नामक द्वन्द्वों से मुक्त हैं — ऐसे अमूढ़ जन उस अव्यय पद को प्राप्त होते हैं।

English Translation

Free from pride and delusion, having conquered the evil of attachment, ever devoted to the Self, with desires completely stilled, liberated from the pairs of opposites known as pleasure and pain — the undeluded reach that imperishable abode.

Commentary (टीका)

Krishna describes the qualifications of those who attain the supreme abode. They are free from false pride and delusion, have overcome the tendency to become attached, remain constantly absorbed in Self-knowledge, have no desires for sense enjoyment, and are unaffected by the dualities of life. These are practical milestones on the spiritual journey.
